These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the My Studio Look website and AI headshot generation service ("Service") operated by My Studio Look ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
My Studio Look is an AI-powered service that transforms your uploaded photos into professional-quality headshots. You upload one or more photos of yourself, select your preferred style and settings, and our AI generates polished headshots suitable for professional use on platforms like LinkedIn, company websites, resumes, and social media.
2. Account Terms
You may create an account using Google authentication or email/password sign-up through our authentication provider, Supabase. Creating an account is optional for browsing but required to generate headshots.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
3. Payment Terms
My Studio Look operates on a one-time payment model. You pay once per headshot generation session — there are no recurring charges or subscriptions. Pricing is displayed clearly on our website before you complete your purchase.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
All prices are listed in USD. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
4. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the quality of your generated headshots, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase by contacting us through our contact form or emailing support@mystudiolook.com.
Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days and returned to the original payment method. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
When using My Studio Look, you agree not to:
- Upload photos of other people without their explicit consent
- Use generated headshots to create fake identities or impersonate others
- Upload or generate content that is obscene, offensive, or sexually explicit
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
- Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or abuse the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service itself without our written permission
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
Your headshots belong to you. You retain full ownership and commercial rights to all AI-generated headshots created from your photos. You may use them for any personal or professional purpose, including social media profiles, resumes, websites, business cards, and printed materials.
We do not claim any ownership or licensing rights over your uploaded photos or generated headshots. We do not use your photos for marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit written consent.
The My Studio Look brand, logo, website design, and underlying technology remain the intellectual property of My Studio Look.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Our headshots are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for high quality and accuracy, AI-generated images may not be perfect. Results can vary depending on the quality, lighting, angle, and resolution of the photos you upload.
AI-generated headshots are artistic interpretations and may contain subtle variations from your actual appearance. We do not guarantee that every output will meet your specific expectations. This is why we offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep My Studio Look available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from service downtime or interruptions. In the event of extended outages affecting paid orders, we will work with affected customers to deliver their headshots or issue refunds.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Studio Look shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
